Tough time for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) isn’t over yet as it receives a double strike following a US judge stated that it should be compelled to disclose sensitive evidence regarding its profit margins and the technology giant recently lost a legal clash in Britain against supplier-cum-competitor, Samsung.

The judge who headed over a high stakes court clash between Apple Inc (AAPL) and Samsung in August gave orders that important data used as evidence in the case is revealed publicly. They comprised of information regarding the iPhone manufacturer’s sales, profits and margins.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) won a patent battle from Samsung and the Korean company was ordered to pay Apple $1.05bn (£650m) in the patents clash, following the Korean firm was found guilty of duplicating Apple’s designs for the iPhone and its iPad gadget. However, the Silicon Valley giant stands to lose a substantial amount further if the information ignites a backlash amongst customers and dents sales of its costly products.

As a stock index registered firm, Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) frequently discloses information regarding its revenues and profits, but it is cautious not to reveal the mark up on its devices. It has claimed that the information would hand its opponents an imbalanced benefit.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) still has one more chance to keep the detail under covers. It would not be revealed until the US Court of Appeal also inspects whether the information should be declared publically or not.

Color-full Deal

On the Mergers and Acquisitions front, it is stated that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is ready to takeover Color, which in past was a glorified mobile photo-sharing startup that has since botched. It seems like the latter’s patents might be appealing US tech titan Apple (AAPL), as per reported by The Next Web.

Trading Activity

Shares of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) were trading down in initial hour of trading down -0.42% on final trading session of week.

    If Appl is forced to disclose manufacturing costs. It will hsve to show what they MUST invest in factiries to effectively produce the device. This isn’t just about actual sales, but also potential sales and margins.
    In the end it will increase costs to Samsuck and others.
    Good way to cut off your nose to spite your face Samsuck!

    This is bright sunshine. It will also show that you can’t build a BMW for the price of a Kia; and show that APPL is, in fact, superior, starting with components, then to the device, then to the experience and lastly to the status.

    In the end it demonstrates the “value equation” in buying the best; versus cheap knock offs. I dare you to name one Korean brand that innovates versus copies at cheaper prices merchandise that is clearly inferior to those they aspire to be.
