Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) declared on Friday that the global rig count for this year’s November was 1,267, higher 8 as compared to the 1,259 counted in October 2012, and higher 82 as compared to the 1,185 counted in November last year.

The global offshore rig count for this year’s November was 300, lower 6 from the 306 counted in October 2012 and lower 2 from the 302 counted in November last year.

Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) reported the gain of +0.67% and closed at $42.26 with the total traded volume of 2.06 million shares. BHI has trailing twelve months’ earnings per share of $3.14 and it price to earnings ratio stand at 13.45.

A deal between Chevron (NYSE:CVX) and Argentina’s state-owned YPF SA would possibly close in the initial quarter of next year, the Dow Jones Newswires cited YPF Chief Executive Officer Miguel Galuccio as stating about the deal.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) surged +0.51% with the closing price of $106.99. The overall volume in the last trading session was 106.99 million shares. Its fifty two week range was $95.73-$118.53. The total market capitalization remained $209.40 billion.

In its share capital CVX has 1.96 billion outstanding shares while 1.96 billion shares have been floated in market. CVX has insider ownership of 0.01% with its institutional ownership remained 64.45%. Company’s current year earnings per share grew with 41.78% while the five years EPS growth rate was +11.50%.

Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM), the world’s biggest oil firm, would use almost $300 million on a JV to discover the Arctic shelf with Russia’s state-controlled Rosneft. The deal is an element of a bigger, long-term deal inked in August last year.

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) shares moved up +0.68% to close at $88.60 and its total traded volume during last trading session was 88.60 million shares.

XOM has market capitalization of $403.96billion and its beta value stands at 0.51 times. XOM has current ratio of 1.03 and its debt-to-equity ratio was 0.07.

Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR) with a 3.50% gain to $8.29 in the latest trading session has changed its distance from 200-Day Moving Average to -19.29% and 50-Day Moving Average to +6.74%. It captures $1.83 billion in market value. The mean rating 2.40 is set by analysts. The company is projected to report -$0.53 per share for the quarter ending Dec-12 as compared to $0.55 earned a year earlier, according to 27 analysts surveyed by Reuters. The average EPS forecast of 23 analysts for the full-year is -$1.30, down as compared to $1.87 earned a year ago.

Nexen Inc. (USA) (NYSE:NXY)’s shares touched a high of $26.00 before closing at $23.52, an increase of -$1.65. The trading volume was 28.64 million shares. Since hitting a 52-week low of $13.63 on December 14, 2011, the stock has managed to stay 74.29% higher from that level. The latest gain caused shares to increase their 2012 gain to 49.24%.
