Encana’s shares changed hands at $21.13 each following plunging down $20.60 in the start of the day.

EnCana Corporation (USA) (NYSE:ECA) moved up +1.59% with the closing price of $21.08. The overall volume in the last trading session was 9.46 million shares. Its fifty two week range was $17.02-$24.29. The total market capitalization remained $15.52 billion.

ECA is ahead of its 52 week low with 28.69% and its last month’s price volatility remained 2.34%. Its beta coefficient was 1.03 with a target price of $2.22. ECA has institutional ownership remained 68.29%. Company’s current year earnings per share decreased with -88.83% while the five years EPS growth rate was -51.12%.

PetroChina’scompletely possessed subsidiary Phoenix Duvernay Gas would pay almost $2 billion for a 49.9% interest in Encana’s 445,000 acres in the Duvernay. The new associates anticipate investing an overall $4 billion.

In last trading session, PetroChina Company Limited (ADR)(NYSE:PTR) dropped of -0.58% to close at $137.95 and its overall traded volume was 194,665shares, more than the average volume of 98,868.
